Some things are more important in life than others. It’s good to keep this in mind when you’re back in the office and find yourself getting stuck in ‘busyness’.
When you have a lot to do, you are more effective when you prioritise your tasks. Plan and organise your daily tasks by priority, importance and how they fit with your overall goals and objectives.
Focus on what’s
Important rather than what’s Urgent. Get a sense of achievement by completing the high priority task(s) first each day. Spend less time on low priority tasks and avoid time-wasters.
Be realistic about how much you can get done each day. Don’t set yourself up for failure by underestimating how long things take or trying to do too much.
If you find you’re always working on urgent tasks, what causes
the urgency?
Have a productive day,
