Hello ,
Thank you to everyone who’s connected, subscribed, completed an audit, worked through an online course or downloaded one of my resources this year.
The end of one year and the start of the next is a great time to relax, unwind and recharge your batteries, whether you're
staying at home or going away.
Make sure you take time over the next couple of weeks to:
Relax and have fun. If you’ve been working hard all year, you deserve a little downtime to recharge your batteries.
Switch off your phone, log out of email. See how long you can survive without checking either! Half a day, a day, two days ...
longer?
Enjoy time with your family and friends. It’s a great time to catch up, relax and enjoy each other’s company.
Give someone a call over the festive period and catch up with someone you haven’t spoken to in a while or don't get to see that often.
Read a book. Rather than spend hours watching repeats of the same old Christmas films, escape into a fantasy world with a
good book or get inspired and motivated by a real-life adventure or biography.
Get outdoors. As tempting as it is to stay inside, cosy and warm, especially if the weather isn’t great and you don’t have a dog to get you out every day. Wrap up warm and enjoy the fresh air and a brisk walk, cycle or even a swim. Yes, there are some people who will be enjoying a Boxing Day swim!
Digital declutter. Clear out old
files, folders, emails and apps. Tidy up your virtual desktop ready for the New Year. Unsubscribe from any newsletters you no longer read or find useful. You can always resubscribe or use Google if you need to.
Enjoy the moment. It's only once a year. It's not worthing stressing over or worrying about the small stuff.
Take pleasure in and be grateful for all that you
have.
