Hello ,

As one year ends and another begins - promise yourself that in 2018 you’ll take more breaks.

Even if the holiday season has been busy with all the social events and activity with family and friends, hopefully you’re looking forward to the New Year - relaxed, de-stressed and ready to go.

If you want to have a productive and successful year, breaks are important.

You may already have booked or be making plans for your Summer Holiday but that’s a good few months away.

Plan in ‘days off’, long weekends and weekends away, so you get a proper break from work and time to recharge your batteries at regular intervals.

While most people just want to work more efficiently so they can get more done in their busy days, they'd rather have more time off. Even when they’re constantly too busy or it doesn’t seem possible.
  • You think skipping lunch or working late is going to give you more time.
  • You’re too busy to take a break - there’s too much to be done.
  • You need to squeeze every minute out of the day.
  • Just keep going and you'll get this finished ...
The longer you work, the more tired you become. Your productivity, concentration and focus drops.

Take a break or go and do something different and allow your sub-conscious to get to work and pop up with a solution to a problem or a great new idea.

So go on, this year plan and commit to more breaks.

If you find it hard to take breaks or just don’t think it’s possible - get in touch.  It might be easier than you think.

Until tomorrow,

Clare
