Time to celebrate your results and achievements from the last 5 days.
Compared to the previous week, how has your planning improved or changed over the course of the week?
Have you noticed anything different about how productive you are when you plan your week, compared to previous weeks when you don’t plan or haven’t you been able to plan in a structured way?
Make a note of …
- What’s worked for you this week, what hasn’t?
- What do you need to modify, adapt and/or change as you move forward.
At the start of the week I asked:
- What ONE thing did you want to achieve this week? Have you done it?
- What three things did you have planned for the week? Did you achieve them?
Post in the group or hit reply and email me your responses to the above questions. This is just the start and it’s a process. It takes time to build a new habit, so be kind to yourself.
It’s inevitable that you won’t be creating your ‘perfect’ week from Day 1. In fact you might have been struggling this week.
You might have a couple of good days planning and other days when you don’t. Hopefully by seeing the benefit of a planned week vs unplanned you’ll be more motivated to make the weekly planner a habit.
Set as many reminders as you need to at the start.
New habits take a while to build, especially when you’re trying to adjust to a new way of working.
It’s not just the “21 or 31 days to create a new habit”, we often hear quoted, it’s the complexity and frequency of the habit you’re creating that makes a difference. It’s also down to individual motivation and willpower.
This group will stay open for another week (at least) so you can still ask questions and access the content before I close it down until next time.
Thank you for being part of this week I've attached the Bonus for you - How To Value Your Time calculator.
I'll be live on Zoom for the final time tomorrow evening at 6pm so come and join me to share your successes and celebrate your achievements!
Hope to see you there.
