Following on from last week, here are a few more strategies to help you plan your next 90 days.
Seek accountability and support
Sharing your goals helps you to stay focused and break through obstacles to your productivity.
Collaborating on mutual goals provides you with motivation
and support to keep moving forward and stretch yourself.
- Share your goals and action plan with a colleague, friend, mentor, or coach. Ask them to hold you accountable for doing what you need to do.
- Look for support from individuals who can contribute to your success, such as collaborators, colleagues, or professional networks and experts.
- Join Mastermind groups or accountability sessions for added motivation and shared learning.
Implement your plan, monitor your progress
An idea is only an idea, a plan is only a plan, until you take action. That’s when the magic happens and the results flow.
- Begin working on your actions and take consistent steps to keep moving forward towards your goals.
- Review and track your progress against the milestones and deadlines you create, on a daily, weekly and
monthly basis. Daily review sessions at the end of the day. Weekly review at the end of the week … etc.
- As you review, adapt and just your plan as needed, making any strategic changes to maximise the results.
Time for Self-Care and Reflection
Over the last few weeks, I’ve outlined the importance of self-care. This of course includes self-care and protecting your time as you plan out your next 90 days.
Include time to be creative and
downtime, when you recharge your batteries and you’re not fully focused on ‘achieving’ every minute of the day.
- Prioritise self-care activities to look after your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
- Take time for regular reflection and self-assessment to ensure you stay aligned with your values and personal growth.
- Celebrate your achievements and acknowledge areas of change and personal growth, while maintaining a positive mindset and avoid focusing on the negative.
Over the next few days, side aside your assessment and reflection time to plan the next few months.
